bookmobile
a program of library outreach
The WPL Foundation works to help expand the Library into the community – so more Waverly residents can experience what the Library has to offer.
Giving on the go
Donations to the WPL Foundation were used to fund a bookmobile which began operation in late 2023. The outreach of the Library’s bookmobile helps take the Waverly Public Library into the community – with stops at local schools, daycares, senior living, special events, and more.

The Andersons were active in the community throughout their lives. After they passed, it was amazing how carefully they had planned their financial legacy to benefit so many Waverly institutions.

A COMMUNITY LEGACY
With a shared love of community and two lifetimes spent saving, Wayne and Nancy Anderson made the Waverly Public Library a beneficiary of their generous financial legacy. The Anderson gift helped fund the bookmobile and initiated the building renewal project, allowing the Library to serve the Waverly area for years to come.
