I believe that our public spaces help build our communities. Waverly Public Library isn't sitting on its hands waiting for you to come check out a book, it is engaged in serving Waverly.

One of the most important aspects of the Waverly Public Library to me is how it works to be a positive space, one where children and youth can get together for simple enjoyment. Kids need places like that. The staff keep it interesting, energized, and inviting. It promotes literacy and STEM learning, especially during those summer brain-drain months. And grown folks like me find value in having a place to read and work that isn't work and home, and we might just on occasion see something offered that catches our fancy or broadens our horizons.

This capital campaign is needed because the tiny space for teens is just not enough any more, children's programming is bursting at the seams, and adults struggle to find a quiet corner to themselves. All good problems for a busy library to have. It's time now for good solutions.
