Where do I start?! The Waverly Public Library has become a second home for us! When I first walked into the WPL I was shocked to hear people talking, see kids everywhere, and receive a kind greeting from each librarian. When we moved to Waverly 6 years ago we came from a town where the library was incredibly strict with book return dates, ripped pages, and story time registration. We eventually stopped going to the library altogether. This completely changed because of WPL.

Over the next few years living in Waverly, a transition to homeschooling and many hours of library programming, I can say without a doubt we have the best library. The librarians know us by name (how do they do that?); they are helpful in finding any books we want; and the programing is amazing! Our four kids feel right at home when we walk in the door. They ask frequently to just go hang out at the library so they can peruse the books, play in the children's area, and of course, come out carrying stacks of books to read at home.

Not only is the library amazing, the staff is even better! They truly are the reason we can't stay away and feel at right at home when we walk in the doors. Thank you WPL for all you do for our town. You are more than a library with books for reading. You are a community center, a gathering place, a play land for littles, and an amazing resource.
