Waverly's Public Library has been an important part of my life since we moved here in 1981. The welcoming staff make you feel that they love working there. Their creativity helps to engage current patrons and attract new ones. Two generations of my children have used the library and now it is one of the first places I take grandchildren when they visit. Older adult grandkids are still avid readers because of their early library use. The young are introduced to a new world through library story hours and materials and older library users are helped to stay young through its use.

As a member of two library book clubs, I've met new people and learned from their perspectives. The staff there secures the books so that members don't need to track down copies. Society pushes for sustainability, but what is more sustainable than sharing books, trying new games before a purchase, or utilizing the internet and computers there? Think of a library card as the best value of any taxpayer. And,
become a member of Friends of the Library with the money you save from library use.
