Our family has been utilizing the Waverly Public Library since we moved to Waverly over 12 years ago. At that time, we had four children ages 5 and under. We enjoyed attending preschool storytimes, especially during Summer Reading Club. All four of our children have participated in the Summer Reading Club over the years, earning prizes and strengthening their love of reading as they've grown up.

As a teacher, I have had the privilege of bringing classes to check out materials and to listen to librarians read stories throughout the school year. In the summer, I have used library study rooms for tutoring students. In addition to countless books, we've borrowed everything from cake pans to American Girl Doll kits to all nine seasons of Little House on the Prairie on DVD! Our youngest daughter Abby says, "I love wandering through the shelves. The library feels like a special place to read."

The Waverly Public Library truly is a special place where there is so much more than books. Our library impacts all ages and abilities, and we feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to "grow up" at our library.
